Being in Dearborn for the first time visiting a friend, she suggested we try some amazing food at a hookah lounge. Knowing the hookah lounges in NYC, I was definitely against going. My friend insisted, we went. We were sat down and a waiter came to ask what we liked to drink then took our order. Our food came at a timely manner, which we were thankful for because we were definitely starving. I ordered the cheese pizza and honestly, it was great! I'm very picky about my pizza and this one definitely was worth it. Now, for the service. Amazing. Our waiter was definitely so kind. My friend is a klutz and she cannot get her food from the buffet without dropping it. So, the waiter was definitely kind enough to help us and bring to her. I am a visitor and after the great customer service and food, I wish I could bring the whole lounge back to New York with me.

My friend wanted to come here for sushi, I was a little worried because it wasn't the traditional Japanese restaurant. When we got there it was a strange mix. One side of the place was more of a hookah lounge, the other private booths, and the middle was dining tables. They had Middle eastern food as well as a sushi menu. So a lot of the options were not raw sushi like most people like but they had some options. We ordered and then we waited.... and waited and waited some more. I can say it was the longest I have ever waited for a meal before. I think it was about a little over an hour and a half after we ordered for the food to come out. We asked the waitress why so long, and I guess there is only one guy back there that is making the sushi and he was backed up. So when we actually got to eat, it was actually pretty good but it could be because I was starving. Needless to say, It was better than I was expecting. They would have got 4 stars if it did not take so darn long!

By far, the best hookah and restaurant I have ever been to! The atmosphere is so peaceful and the staff are very friendly! Amazing food and the sushi is awesome!!! The outside patio is an excellent spot to hang out in and enjoy a hookah and a fresh cup of coffee. The crowd are well behaved and there isn't the ruckus that gives people a headache. I really appreciate the wonderful service that I get each and every time!!!

great hookah and really nice place. tons of outdoor seating and the inside looks amazing. lots of huge TVs. they have a lot of different flavors and even Starbuzz which is always a good choice. And the food is terrific, didn't try the sushi but looks like a lot of people rave about it. The staff is very friendly and nice. They checked up on us every 15 minutes and refilled coals. Highly recommend!

The service is good and the food and hookah aren't bad either but their prices and the policies there are ridiculous they won't even let you bring in a coke with you.

Its a nice hookah place open at late hours and full of people all the nights, it opens even in christmas day , the hookah is good but the prices is over charging , specially for the hookah in spite off they were making offer for the hookah but generally it reach 24$ in normal days for a natural orange head hookah

Quit during the day and fun at night. Excellent place to watch sports on one of their many, giant TVs. Food is dee-lish, I love the salads and the pizza. Hookah is smooth and they have a great selection of flavor mixes.

I didn't like that they put an 18% tip automatically on my bill...all me and my son got was a hookah and a smoothie...not worth a 7 dollar tip...I decide what I want to tip, not you. They even put our smoothies in a togo cup. I saw people outside with glasses. NOT COOL! Won't be back! We are not of Arab decent...need I say more.

Writing another review. After going there again I can't understand why this place is so busy? The booth we sat in was torn in half, with the upholstery coming undone so we asked to be moved to the couches and those were beaten up just as bad if not worse. You get the feeling of dirtiness because the tables and booths always have left over crumbs and smears from the PPl that sat that before you. The service was horrible. I had to ask my waitress for menus, and sides multiple times with my meal. She later on apologized and said she had a rush but we were there around noon and noticed there were only a few other tables around us. The food was bland, the salad had no taste. They charge $1.50 for water as well. Per bottle. I would give a review on the hookah but I didn't smoke that time around.

The atmosphere is nice, hookah is great, sushi is amazing. But this place is so overpriced. I came here during Ramadan for iftar, there Buffett was like $16 I believe, they had lentil soup, pasta, chicken legs, rice, salad, and galaba drink. It did not taste good, and the Buffett area was small and unorganized. So if u plan on coming don't come durning ramadan if u will break your fast here. Anyways, there prices are still high. They charge $1 or $2 for a water bottle. What place charges for water? They have Tim hortons coffee and a small cup costs $2, more then how much an original small cup at Tim hortons cost. There setting area is nice n spacey, and the outside patio is really nice. I honesty wouldn't come here again bc this place charges for things that are supposed to be complimentary , or they over charge.?

Seriously one of my favorite places to eat. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it takes forever to get your food. But honestly if you have the time, it's worth the wait. Their sushi is spectacular!! And my brother just loves their chicken Shawarma sandwiches. Great environment and well lit. Great for sports coverage, TVs everywhere. And sometimes they will accommodate channel requests. After seven, it's super crowded. So I recommend mashing a reservation.

Everytime I've eaten here I feel sick. So crowded and the "sushi" is disgusting. I only go when friends have a gathering there and even then I won't order anything. Only thing that's good is the pre-frozen stuff like fries. Food tastes like packets bought at a GFS or Costco, heated and served. And everyone has their eyes everywhere else but on their table with their company.

Our server Rizk, was very attentive and nice to us, he did everything in his power to give great customer service, which he did. Although this hookah lounge is towards the pricey side, my friends and I did enjoy our time there.

This was my second time visiting a friend in Dearborn and also my second time visiting the Lava Lounge. First of all, I want to compliment the manager for doing such a great job for taking care of the customers and maintaining a well trained staff. I've seen the manager go around from table to table personally asking people how their experience is, which you don't see very often. Also, I enjoyed our server. He was very sweet and accommodated our needs. The food was good as well; I ordered the barbeque chicken wrap and it tasted just like the chicken was barbecued over the grill. Thank you for such a great experience & I will definitely be back and recommend this place.

This place is awesome, I've been there a few times and always left happy. Their sushi is great, the atmosphere is awesome. I definetly would go back and would recommend you guys to check it out, you won't be disappointed. They have lots of great hookah flavor a as well
